Here at JNB Landscaping we are often asked if we provide bi-weekly services. Currently, we do not offer bi-weekly services. We strongly recommend weekly mowing for both aesthetics and health effects to your yard. Some benefits of weekly mowing:

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
What about spring and fall cleanups? We also provide spring and fall cleanup services! Spring cleanups are usually provided in April/early May and Fall cleanups in November/early December.
Interested in spring or fall cleanups?
When does lawn mowing start and stop? In 2024, our weekly maintenance plan begins on April 29th and it ends on October 25th, for a total of 6 months.
How do I pay? We accept payments by Interac e-transfer, debit/credit card, cheque or cash. We accept all major credit cards.
You were here last Monday. Why didn't you come this Monday? We always aim to maintain our schedule consistently. However, inclement weather, like rain, can prevent us from mowing your lawn as planned. To ensure the best care for your lawn, we sometimes need to adjust our schedule to accommodate weather conditions. Please allow a day or two on either side of your usual service day.
Where do the grass clippings go? Our weekly maintenance plan includes mulched clippings. Clippings are mulched for the best lawn health. Clippings are cut into fine pieces that fall easily onto the soil surface and are rapidly broken down by soil microorganisms, which release nutrients back into the soil - like a free fertilizer! All the loose clippings are blown off driveways and walkways to the lawn. If you request bagging for every visit, additional charges may apply.
How do you quote my yard? The price of each service is based on extensive market research of local market pricing. Don’t worry about having to set up an appointment with us to come to your property and give you a quote, we are able to provide quotes within seconds using satellite imaging to determine the size and configuration of your yard.
How high do you mow the grass? Our standard cutting height is 2.5"/3" - higher than you might expect. A higher cutting height improves the health of the lawn significantly, helping to shade the tender roots of the lawn, and outcompete small weeds. In the fall we typically reduce our height to 2"/2.5" to make it easier to collect fallen leaves and to leave the lawn looking neat for the winter months. If you want your lawn mowed higher or lower than our standard cutting height, just let us know. Our team will be happy to help.
What's your cancellation policy? You can cancel your services at any time.
Do you do one-time grass cuts? Yes we do! Contact us for a free quote.
What if my grass is overgrown? If your grass is over 8” long at the beginning of your service, a one-time surcharge will be applied to compensate for the additional time needed for the initial mowing and additional wear and tear on the equipment. The cost will be estimated upon checking your property. This surcharge will only apply for the first visit.
What if my house is just outside your service area? Give us a call! Even if your house is slightly outside our standard service area, we encourage you to contact us. There's a possibility that we've recently extended our coverage, and we might be able to help you!
